Bb is getting into the lower ranges of easy to play didges. Sometimes lower didges require the player to sit and get centered before they can blow capably loose enough to hold and control a nice drone. Forget about that. I could play this riding a unicycle and juggling knives, if I knew how to ride a unicycle and had the extra arms and skills for knife juggling. It's damn easy. The Alder gives it a nice warm tone. I built it long enough to allow for a fairly open bore giving it excellent vocal projections. The trumpets flow better with percussive play than as a reach from a drone. It's percussive playing is super satisfying and it's meditative drawing is sublime. I should add that the tuning here comes about 30 cents high of Bb for me, so if I were to try to play this in a band setup it'd be slightly high pitched. That being said, tuning is dictated by the players embouchure and so tuning commonly shifts from one player to the next.
