Looking at the measurements of this bell I'd have to say it's one of the smallest of all the sticks I've had on my site, but you'd never guess that by listening to it. I gave it a nice open bore for tons of room for dynamic expression, which projects so beautifully off the extremely hard (dense) Locust wood. Comparing it to the other Bb on my site right now I'd say that this ones tone is brighter and would offer crisper enunciation which could be a benefit for recording projects, and the tuning is bang on Bb so I can use it to perform along with other musicians in situations where perfect tuning is important. This one is the performance model wearas the other one is a comfort cruiser (which also kicks ass). It's from a tree that grew in my front yard for many years which got cut and used as posts for a greenhouse that only got used one season, but the post stood there in my orchard 6 or 7 years, just taking on the weather and building memories and experiences that will definitely translate in the stories it has yet to tell. It just needs breath and appreciation to share it's richness. AUM. Don't we all? Like I mentioned in the other Bb review, I added these on the request of a couple customers and I'll contact them to let them look and compare. If you ain't them, go ahead and lust for awhile before you contact me about buying it. Is that controlling your lust or feeding your lust? Sin is so complicated. I just love it.
