I'm quick to admit that well playing low didges are difficult to craft and extremely rare. To try to get enough backpressure AND enough dynamic is a tricky balance. I'm stoked that I nailed it on this one because it's one that I left much more natural in it's shape than how I normally craft. The rougher natural features actually cause for much more time and attention in the finishing process than something which smoothes over easily. The extra invested time and the amazing appearance are bonus's almost equal to the fantastic playing abilities. Super low sticks and super high sticks force us to take a different approach to our playing, which in turn makes us much more rounded and capable.
