I made this piece as a demonstration in a didgecrafting workshop at In-Didj-In-Us a few years ago. I made it with an Australian performer in mind who prefers high sticks with a solid punch. Nailed it and nailed it. He didn't make it back. It's been around awhile, was with a friend awhile, and now it's gone.... I'm so stoked to say that this didge now lives with JD Pinkus, a bass player from the Butthole Surfers, and also the Melvins. Those were both favorite bands of mine from the 80's onward. The stars are so close you can reach out and touch them. It's always a beautiful day.
