So incredibly smooth and balanced. This is the evolution of over 600 didges crafted. The slight taper gives the very best playing characteristics. Big bells, big flares, twisty shapes, etc, all look interesting to the newer players but a trained eye gets excited when it sees this shape. I've intentionally stopped making instruments that pander to excitement of shape instead of excitement of playing characteristics. As the community grows in knowledge and awareness those 'silly sticks' will disappear and this will become the standard of sexy. The Alder gives the voice a warmth that connects it to the heart.
