DIDJ NUMBER - 617

Rheostat. That's the one-word description of this fantastic didgeridoo. Just put in enough pressure to get it singing and then push all the way up into an overblown and back down to a whisper again maintaining complete control throughout it's entire range. The density of the wood and the thickness of the walls give support to the tone delivering incredible clarity. The shape creates a well balanced bounce to the backpressure which makes percussive playing effortless and exciting. It's beautiful, and it's very heavy. This tree grew in my front yard dropping tiny leaves that don't rake up, puncturing us with it's nasty spikes, and eventually shading out my garden. It's much nicer as didges than as a part of my yard, though I'm still battling the prolific shoots more than two years after dropping that sucker.
