I built this exagerated shape to be ridiculous and push boundaries. I think it's important to get outside our norms so we can get different perspectives to learn and grow. My working title for it was 'The Bounce Castle', because I was so focused on the expected play of the air column. A friend I handed it to exclaimed about the added bass response attributed by the giant bell actually grounding the high Bb which otherwise ought to be so incredibly annoying because of it's extreme high pitch. Whatever man, I'm just sittin' here shaking my head because I threw together a bunch of extremes and it worked out great. Extremely easy trumpets and overblowns. Incredible projection. Easy response to lipping up and pressure changes. Not reccomended for beginners- it'd get shoved down your throat before you'd develop yer chops, but a great addition to a collection for someone who thinks they've already got it all.
