DIDJ NUMBER - 376
I built this didge to have a large bell with all the associated benefits yet you'll notice it's actually a large flare rather than large bell, which gives it a more controllable behavior, playful high backpressure, and tons of volume. The walls are thin through the topend and thick in the bottom end giving it good snappy response and well supported powerful delivery. The first trumpet actually comes in under an octave, which means it's so close and so easy to hit and incorporate into faster or intricate rythms. The overblowns are so sharp and loud that it seems like you just must've blown your speakers, but wait, it's not playing through speakers. Soundmen beware, this thing get's aggressive. Really it's more of an accoustic performer than a recording instrument because of it's incredible volume and explosive potentials. Would be an excellent choice for a busking stick, or anyone seeking to feel powerful while unlocking new abilities as this stick is really lively and does everything so well and easy. I would compare it to a European Sports Luxery car with cup holders.
