DIDJ NUMBER - 352

The dense walls of Locust give this didge a deep timbre and tonal richness to rival the highest quality yidaki available. I think that's all I really have to say. I'm keeping the price low because I do have a commitment to providing high quality sticks at affordable prices. The exterior of this didge is finished with pure oils of linseed, tung, and citrus, the interior is epoxy coated. The volume on this one is definately on the loud side, though not at the expense of any harmonic clarity. The overblowns and trumpets are bright to the drone. Heavy like eucalyptus. I'll be sad to see this one go but then again I make 'em with the intent of enriching the entire didge community and it won't do any good sitting in my closet. I'm tempted to put a really high price on it so that it's still around in summer to show off at the didge festivals but in addition to my commitment to low prices I also promised myself when I started crafting that everything I make will go to market so that my best didges are out there building my reputation while I'm constantly trying to build better and better didges to keep myself saturated in didj bliss.
