DIDJ NUMBER - 632

An interesting phenomena about both low instruments and extremely dense wood instruments is that they almost require that the player take a moment to get centered and grounded. That's a good lesson for any activity we put ourselves to. This didge being both low and dense doesn't have as much feedback through the instrument itself, it's more about hearing the sound reflected off of a wall or being played into a microphone. The dense walls of the Yew wood absorb nothing and deliver everything. I don't get to work with Yew as often as I'd like. So far every Yew I've crafted has been exceptional, and I'd really like to have better access it to it as a raw material. An incredibly nice instrument that I considered just keeping here for didge guests rather than offering for sale online, but I like to consider my site to be a treasure hunt, like Beanie Babies, Hot Wheels, or Baseball cards, where you pay the same low price for each new purchase but the capture can be worth many times what you paid for it. AUM.
