Dense, heavy oak translates well to an instrument with a nice deep timbre and plenty of support for clarity across the harmonic range. The top end walls are very thin to promote a responsive playability and greater sense of connection between the instrument and the player. Very comfortable and easy drone, trumpets, overblown, vocals. Like comfortable shoes, it's an easy nice fit.
