High pitched didges can often seem like suped up cars which can be translated as adolescent but this didge has a very mature sense about it. It's F# tuning offers all the 'I can play faster than you' type potentials which it delivers effortlessly and silky smooth. It's also quite comfortable playing slow and harmonic and doesn't seem out of place doing so even as a high pitch instrument. The overblowns and trumpets are easy and well matched. Everything about this didge just feels so right. The carmel colored maple has nice spalting and fiddleback figuring.
