DIDJ NUMBER - 287
Vocals ought to be the very first word in describing this didge, they are bright and very loud. Mix that with excellent harmonic balance and you've got something of a show-off.
Volume = response here, giving the type of feedback to the player that a lightweight didge gives but with the well supported tonal solidity of maple. The overblown response is actually warm to the fundamental making it easier to incorporate into rhythms without agitating a riot. The first trumpet is nicely placed and the medium to high back pressure makes it easy to play.
In my production notes I referred to this one as 'Hoof' because of it's bulbous forward swept bell. The whole curved section is beautiful fiddleback like maple does best. Not just a looker and a player though, it's a screamer too!
