DIDJ NUMBER - 110
This is a killer boom, a non-returner used for hunting ground animals. Most boomerangs are lightweight and are built for throwing and catching as sport, but traditionally a returning boomerang is used to throw into a flock of birds. This boom would be thrown in the same fashion but it will travel in a straight path. It is heavy and the edges are somewhat sharp. The Doonooch Aboriginal Dance Troupe brought this with them to use in performance as a clapstick at In-Didj-In-Us a few years back and now I'm willing to let it go to a collector or someone who will really appreciate it for the authentic traditional cultural artifact that it is.
