DIDJ NUMBER - 538

Oh yes, how I love thee. So comfortable. So inviting to exploration. I find myself getting very soft and quiet examining each input of sound. Such a nice combination of attributes. Pressures up into trumpets with such gentle ease and exhibits harmonic richness. Very appropriate for heart felt sonic union. The straight cannon delivery is also very appropriate for percussive and blunt style. This stick, as a person, is very similar to Tyler Spencer, as a person. It freakin' rocks and it does so with so much maturity and so much heart. The maturity (of the didge) relates to the gentle shape of the air column paired with a careful tuning of wall thickness at different points throughout the instrument. This somewhat aggressive shape is kept under control with the woodchoice of maple being somewhere in the middle of the density ranges that I work with. I generally use the softest woods for the most agressive shapes, and the harder woods for the smaller belled instruments. That's where the heart comes in. I only work with inspiration, never out of need or pressure. I take all the lessons of my history and apply it to every moment of creation. My instruments display my intuitive abilities, and they look much more refined.
