This is a pretty versatile instrument. The vocals and harmonics cut through nicely but are not overwhelming. Each sound can be isolated. The trumpets and overblown are well matched up and it can rip or roll. It's nice solid oak, has a good deep timbre, beautiful coloring and grain. Shaped for a good balance, ideal for recording and performance.
