With this F I made the top a bit open and the gradual taper to begin almost immediately. The walls at the top are quite thin for a nice responsive action but it's the thick walled lower end that gives this didge it's strongest characteristic which is it's rock solid feel. An F is frequently like a lightweight sports car where as this didge is more akin to a luxery sports sedan, making the lightweight models top speed still look like tea time. Because speed isn't the issue it's nice to fall back on it's comfort and ease, exploring vocally and harmonicly on what sounds like a much larger stick. The trumpets and overblown can easily be incorporated into rhythms.
