You don't really expect super high end products to be overly flashy, but when you look close the quality is obvious. This spalted alder is gorgeous and the shape is one long gradual conical taper. No big bell to throw off the balance or or screaming 'look at me' antics employed here, just an honest sweet ass player that's light enough to hike with all day and good enough for serious recording studio sessions. I made it with an open top end for excellent vocals and harmonic response. The trumpets just happened to land at very nice intervals too. Definitly soon to become someones BFF.
