DIDJ NUMBER - 468

The action is go. Really easy to wake up from a slumber with just the slightest touch of wind, and plays smoothly through it's transitions up to super roar. Well balanced didge. The walls are crafted at only 1/4 inch thick up in the top section to give a highly responsive aspect to the section interacting with the players breath, and then the walls thicken up to deliver a well supported note with a deep timbre. Another piece of Oak from the yard of Jason Strazzabosco, Central Coast of California. Not afraid of water and already knows how to swim.
The tuning on this is actually between D and Eb but Ondrej encouraged me to leave the tuning exactly as it is because the yidaki quality of the sound might get lost. I'll listen when experience speaks. Honor wisdom.
