DIDJ NUMBER - 448

Similar type of responsiveness as a superb agave but with denser, thicker walls giving a deeper timbre and more well supported sound. Dramatic but non-abrasive overblowns. Trumpets are well matched to the volume of the fundamental drone. Excellent pressure response. Slightly warm tone makes it easy to achieve a full dirty sound. The bell is reasonably sized to maintain an excellent balance and still loud enough for busking. It's short enough and light enough for sonic massage type work.
Very beautiful spalted and bug tracked Alder has been double resin coated for durability and the exterior has been given a satin finish for a nice aesthetic and tactile appeal.
If you are lucky enough to live in the NYC area these three (#448, 451, and 453) will be available through AJ at didgeproject.com He's a NY based didge teacher and wants to have didges available for his students. Him him up, he's a really nice guy.
