DIDJ NUMBER - 334

Take a good look at the photos first and then let me tell you that this thing sounds like a semi truck turned performance didge. Close your eyes and try to imagine the size as it's played. I could easily accept a guess of fifty feet. A fifty foot didge is practically unthinkable but let me tell you my friend the proof is in the pudding. It's overblowns just transmit so much power that even I feel fifty feet big when I play it. The tone is phat and solid. The trumpets come easy. The vocals pop right through. Absolutely outstanding!!!
The aesthetics of this piece had me coveting the log in my workshop for over a year, it's incredible burls ripe with promise. To covet is a sin and when sin comes with this much panache there's usually a fair price to pay. The price is fair indeed. The $570 tag is a random pick to honor my volunteer fire station, Lyons Rural Fire District station 570, and $70 of it goes to buy healthy organic juices and snacks to make sure our heroes are happy and healthy as they come and go from calls and drills.
