If you looked at the wood type and price you might have already noticed that there's something odd here. It's lucky maple and it $350 + 1 lucky buck.

You may be wondering why this didge is considered a lucky talisman offering protection and possibly even capable of bringing our troops Om. I didn't even know about it's mysterious powers when I collected the log while out hunting firewood. I discovered it's secret whilst hollowing the interior. With my grinder I was carving along and sliced through a bullet slug lodged in the wall of this stick about midway. The slug is actually visible from the outside as well and is highlighted by darkened areas where this bullet lodged itself many years ago about two inches deep.

If it were target shooting there would have been several bullets. THIS TREE SAVED SOME ANIMAL'S LIFE! It just might save yours.

It's better suited to an intermediate to advanced player as it takes the stronger push of a developed player to get it's sweet spot. I never think twice about it but then I see a newbie jump on it and well, if you have to explain it then it's really not for them. Easy as pie for me. It evokes quick popping starts and stops, has excellent jaw drop and pressure change response. Phat overblown notes. The trumpet is bright to the drone and has no problem making it's shout out heard loud and crisp no matter what noisy mob you're gettin' down with. The vocals are somewhat dirty and have excellent projection. Even when playing slow and comfortable this is a power player, and maybe a life saver.

Check out the picture of the bell detail with it's spalting, burls, and nice organic shapes. Also check out the bullet shots. One photo there with the bright silver is the slug from the interior after I hit it with my grinder in the crafting process. I thought of a zillion clever names while meditating on the bullet energy and settled firmly on 'Bring our troops Om!'.
