DIDJ NUMBER - 265
This is a didge I made in 2006 which has been in very goood hands and the only change I've made is a re-newed exterior finish. The mouthpiece is chunkier, the top end walls thicker, and then thinner in through the bell than what I'd do now but I did know what I was after and it all came together to make a didge that sounds and plays excellently. It has a very wide sonic range from very light soft play to all you can give it with snappy response and excellent volume. This didge shares many of the qualities of agave that make it good for helping newer players really feel and hear every nuance of what's happening and develop a synergy with their instrument. Easily transitions from drone to trumpet and back. Has pretty amazing harmonic abilities, vocal projection, and a very nice balanced sound when mixing it up between drone, trumpet and overblowns. A sweet sweet stick indeed.
