I play in a rock band and when we first started my first didj was in D so we just always jammed in D, then I got a killer Djalu in D so we were stuck in D again, then my own sticks started getting good enough that I preferred to play them and so now we're out of the world of D but when I blow through this stick I just know it's capable of rockin me for an hour straight without ever boring me or making me wish it did anything better than it does already, and I'm straight back into that hypnotic world of psychedelic jam. The backpressure is high and even a bit restrictive which makes it easy enough to play for long periods, and easy enough to do fast and fancy without hardly showing any effort or movement. This is what I consider to be an awesome stick for intermediate players looking to sound pro but still be able to sit back on their lazy behinds not really having to work it at all. Ideal for me. The trumpets are easy and clear and the overblown notes are a nice volume match to the trumpets. It has easy to exploit vocal harmonics and'll wander or thump equally well. Get it.
