Usually I consider higher backpressure something that makes an intermediate player rip like a pro but honestly the only thing that's gonna let a pro really explore being a pro is gonna be something with a more open bore requiring more effort but thus giving greater control over the nuances of the instrument and the players abilities. This is that type of instrument. When I look at it I think of Van Gogh's ear because of that whack knot near the bell, but when I play it I think of Buffalo because it's very solid and powerful. It has excellent vocals. I find myself sculpting sound with it in that airplane style a lot just because it's so precise and clear making it irresistibly fun to explore. If you are beyond being a beginner and think you've got some chops this stick'll let you show them off.
