DIDJ NUMBER - 559
If I didn't price my sticks all the same this didgeridoo would be $1,200. Sometimes it's hard to let such a special instrument go at my standard rate, but spiritual teachings encourage me to focus on the outcomes of my labor rather than the income of my labor. The reward in the long run is much greater. I rarely get to work with Yew and whenever I do it's always exciting. Yew is very heavy and dense which gives it beautiful tonal qualities, but it also weighs in at just over 12 pounds which makes it better suited to home or studio than a kick about town stick. Its length and gradual taper makes this an incredibly easy instrument to play. The black on the mouthpiece isn't wax, it was a filler to make the mouthpiece more perfect. All of my didges are made so that the mouthpieces are comfortable and ready anytime without the need for messy wax. This will be a very lucky catch for whoever snags it first.
