I explain this one along with it's look-alike so you'd better click back to the previous stick (#496) and read the description there. I'm almost to 500! didges now and these instruments express very well the knowledge and skill I've developed along the way. I carved the first of these two to impress my son. He solidly believes that this is the only size and shape (and middle tuning) didges that I ever need to make. This is the perfect didge and no other design need be bothered with. Ha! The second of the two was for the purpose of comparrison expressed in the previous sticks description and for my sons education in understanding subtle differences in instruments so he can give me good feedback and be part of what pushes me ever towards excellence in my crafting.
