DIDJ NUMBER - 544
I normally think of an F as a higher range didge. This didges careful balance and well supported tone causes it to act much more like an E or Eb. Even for the listener the experience is of something solid and well built. It's not too frequent to find this plush of feel in an instrument with this high of a fundamental tuning. The big open interior broadcasts vocals with incredible clarity. It also offers a lot of fun with harmonics making it just as enticing to play slowly as the full-tilt-boogie it was shaped for. The trumpets are a bit bright to the drone. The overblown can be worked in either as well balanced or as harsh and aggressive as you wish. The conical bore adds plenty of spring to your bounce breath. Sweet stick.
